"The response to the bombings demonstrated the strength and flexibility of the UK's emergency response" Says the Home Office document 'Addressing lessons from the emergency response to the 7 July 2005 London bombings'
Barnsley and Rotherham Liberal Democrats would like to pay their respects to the family and friends of the victims of tragedy which shocked everyone and brought the UK to a standstill.
5 years on from the horrific 7/7 London bombings, which crippled the London transport network and took the lives of 52 innocent people injuring nearly 700. Barnsley and Rotherham Liberal Democrats would like to take the time to pay their respects to the family and friends of the victims.
Lost but never forgotten.
We would also like to take the opportunity to commend our emergency services for the brave and fast response which prevented even more fatalities, as well as this we would like to commend them on the work they continue to do everyday of the year.
